Introduction
The Sustainable Smart Home Lab consists of a sampling of items that can be used in today’s home. Technology can be used to perform a number of functions that assist with everyday living. Heating and cooling systems, home security, lighting and kitchen appliances can be controlled with smart devices or with voice activated assistants.
Devices
The following list includes the devices within the Sustainable Smart Home Lab. They all function with the use of an app. The apps are “preloaded” on the iPad and contained in a folder named Teacher Resources.

Your task is to become a Smart Home installation technician by activating all of the devices and creating interactions between them, wherever possible. There aren’t any paper manuals included with the lab, so it is your job to do the research, learn how the devices work, then make them functional.
